About the event
How do we get to the climate positive data center?
United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) represent a call for action by all countries to preserve the climate of the planet. With the data center industry on the trajectory to consume 1/5 of our planet’s power in 2025, taking up to 3,5% of global CO2 emissions, immediate action is required to redirect the data center industry towards a climate-positive future.
Danish Data Center Industry and UNEP DTU Partnership is once again bringing the discussion of sustainable data centers to the table at our conference “Data Centers Denmark 2020”.
The conference is gathering the industry as well as representatives from universities, research institutions and policy makers to discuss the latest energy efficient measures and how policy frameworks can support the industry towards a sustainable future.
Join us in Copenhagen and let us hear your take on how we together can rethink the data center in the SDG era.
2019 speakers (2020 Speakers to be announced soon)

What people said about Data Centers Denmark 2019
I was delighted to be invited to the Data Centers Denmark in the UN City last May. The conference provided a valuable forum for data centers stakeholders as well as policy practitioners and experts to discuss crucial global issues, covering important topics such as energy, water, circularity and others.
I consider the conference to be an important platform where experts can share on how to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges. My own experience resulted in establishing good contacts with several organisations, some of these contacts are translating to real business cases/projects.

A great conference that brought together so many of the key players in the field and also such variety of points of view, that made the content very rich and meaningful.
I thoroughly enjoyed the conference day.
