About the event

The road towards carbon-free
data centers
18-19 May 2021
Virtual

The United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) represent a call for action by all countries to preserve the climate of the planet.  With the data center industry on the trajectory to consume 1/5 of our planet’s power in 2025, taking up to 3,5% of global CO2 emissions, immediate action is required to redirect the data center industry towards a climate-positive future.

Danish Data Center Industry, in collaboration with UNEP-DTU Partnership, is hosting a virtual version of the annual conference Data Centers Denmark in 2021, which will focus on data center sustainability.

The virtual event will feature live-streamed sessions over the course of two days, focusing on the latest market developments, energy efficiency, renewable power, policy frameworks and the impact of COVID-19 on the industry's  green agenda.

Attendees are also invited to access the networking platform, where they can network with and set up 1-1 meetings with other attendees.

About Danish Data Center Industry

The Danish Data Center Industry (DDI) is a national industry body representing the Danish data center ecosystem and was born out of the want to make it easier for operators to do business with Denmark. To date, both the private and the public sector in Denmark have very well received DDI with an evergrowing member community.

DDI creates an environment of open dialogue for all, where members connect, exchange and form partnerships with companies that have a business focus on Denmark.
